The Belmar is a mental health specialist care home in the small village of Ansdell we provide accommodation for persons who require nursing or personal care, Dementia, Mental health conditions, Substance misuse problems, Treatment of disease, disorder or injury, caring for adults under 65 years, and Caring for adults over 65 years.

Ansdell is a small village between Lytham and St Annes, on the landward side of the railway line. It has its own railway station(shared with Fairhaven), the “Ansdell Institute” club and a public library. It is famous because of Richard Ansdell RA, an artist who lived in the area and painted numerous oils depicting hunting scenes.
